Internet-Based Motor Carrier Training

The NorthAmerican Transportation Association has teamed up with AdvanceOnline to offer self-paced training for motor carriers over the Internet! We are especially proud and excited to have a number of Motor Carrier Safety Compliance courses that were developed in conjunction with the experts at the US DOT/Transportation Safety Institute (TSI).

Terminal Managers, Safety Compliance Managers, Safety Supervisors, Shop Foremen, and anyone responsible for compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) will now have access to this valuable and important training anytime, anyplace, 365 days a year.

The goals of the Motor Carrier compliance courses are to:

• Provide an easily accessible and cost-affordable means of FMCSR training
• Enhance awareness of the FMCSRs and specific requirements
• Enable users to identify/reference specific sections within the FMCSRs
• Enable users to acquire knowledge/skills that are necessary to comply with the FMCSRs
• Provide appropriate procedures for maintaining the records required by the FMCSRs
• Identify and explain the acute and critical regulations in the FMCSRs
