NEW Internet-Based Motor Carrier Training
The NorthAmerican Transportation Association has teamed up with AdvanceOnline to offer self-paced training for motor carriers over the Internet! We are especially proud and excited to have the US DOT/Transportation Safety Institute's (TSI) Motor Carrier Safety Compliance courses as a part of our many course offerings. Every person, upon completion of the DOT/TSI course titles, will receive a Certificate of Completion from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Transportation Safety Institute.
Terminal Managers, Safety Compliance Managers, Safety Supervisors, Shop Foremen, and anyone responsible for compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) will now have access to this valuable and important training anytime, anyplace, 365 days a year.
The goals of the Motor Carrier compliance courses are to:
- Provide an easily accessible and cost-affordable means of FMCSR training
- Enhance awareness of the FMCSRs and specific requirements
- Enable users to identify/reference specific sections within the FMCSRs
- Enable users to acquire knowledge/skills that are necessary to comply with the FMCSRs
- Provide appropriate procedures for maintaining the records required by the FMCSRs
- Identify and explain the acute and critical regulations in the FMCSRs
- Help motor carriers achieve a "satisfactory" safety rating
